Repair Our Democracy

Posted January 8, 2021

“The Sisters of the Divine Compassion are appalled at the unconscionable assault on the U.S. capitol and on American democracy. We urge Congress to take steps that will hold anyone involved in this event accountable. We pray that order may be restored and maintained so that the legitimate actions of our government may proceed.  We pray for a peaceful transition of the presidency and for the United States to continue to be a nation committed to the rule of law and to justice for all, as our Constitution states.”
