“You don’t take a photograph; you make it”
–Ansel Adams

Sr. Betty Ann adds to the truth spoken by Ansel Adams. "When you lose your breath upon seeing snow gracefully covering the boughs of fir trees and individually encasing each needle of the pine branch, you whisper your thanks to God who created that beauty."  From the age of ten, Sr. Betty Ann has tried to capture our beautiful world on film.

As an educator, Sr Betty Ann was gifted to teach many children and teenagers. As they grew up, many of her students asked Sister to photograph their weddings, and a number of parents asked SIster to photograph their children’s reception of the sacraments. "I am thankful to have been in the presence of beautiful young people in very special moments, and I was given the privilege of capturing these treasured occasions on film. Photography has given me the gift of sharing in the Divine Creation of God!," Sr. Betty Ann said.
