As a member of the LCWR – Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) – the Sisters of the Divine Compassion have entered a period of reflection in preparation for the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and our nearly 300 years of presence, service, and leadership in the United States.

As we honor the 250 years of our nation’s history we ask you to join us in solidarity and prayer as we submit a Letter, Prayer and Declaration of Commitment to each member of Congress. Please pray for the safe delivery and positive reception by our Congressional Leaders, as well as the renewal of our nation’s commitment to ensuring that life, liberty, faith and the flourishing of the human spirit are possible for all.
