In December 1981, five women became the first lay Associates of the Divine Compassion. The Chapel was filled with Sisters, families and friends, who joined together to celebrate the RDC Community’s new venture.
Today, more than 50 Associates continue to be non-vowed members of the RDC Community, sharing in the Divine Compassion spirituality and ministries. Each Associate’s degree of involvement is different, but over the years the group has become more involved in Community life and are integral to the work of the RDC ministries.
